#Podrywacze.pl, the largest Polish social network for erotic content from 2005-2015

Podrywacze.pl is a key project in my WordPress developer portfolio. Between 2005 and 2015, it was the largest Polish social network focused on erotic content, combining social networking functions with a rich multimedia database. The platform attracted thousands of users thanks to its interactive features and exclusive content. My task was to create a modern, responsive WordPress site, optimised for performance, security, and SEO using the technologies available in 2015.

#The purpose of the site and its audience

The main goal of Podrywacze.pl was to provide a platform for adult users interested in erotic content. The site enabled the publication of content, interactions (comments, ratings, messaging) and access to multimedia, creating a space for both amateurs and professionals. Its audience consisted of adult Poles looking for entertainment and inspiration.

#Site functionalities

• User Profiles: Accounts with personalisation and privacy settings (via UserPro).
• Content Publishing: Photos, videos, and texts published using custom post types.
• Social Interactions: Comments (via Disqus), ratings (WP-PostRatings), and messages (BP Messages).
• Categories and Tags: Content organised and optimised for SEO using All in One SEO Pack.
• Premium Payments: Subscriptions via WooCommerce and Przelewy24.
• Responsiveness: A theme built on Bootstrap 3.
• Moderation: An administration panel using ACF.

#Challenges and solutions

The project required solving key issues:

• Performance: Implemented Cloudflare CDN, WP Smush, and W3 Total Cache.
• Security: Used Apache cache, regular updates, and BackupBuddy for backups.
• SEO: Utilised All in One SEO Pack and an XML sitemap.
• User Management: Custom PHP scripts and the Members plugin were employed.
