Capability service pillar

AI implementation consultancy for WordPress, headless commerce, and content operations

AI work scoped to a real editorial or operations problem.

Send the workflow being automated, the data sources, the people who own the output, and the regulatory frame (GDPR, NIS2, sector-specific).

What AI implementation actually looks like in 2026

The shipped surface in WordPress 7.0 already includes the AI services registry, Abilities API for safe admin operations, and AI-assisted block editing. Practical projects sit on top of that: a draft-to-publish loop that respects your editorial taxonomy, a content audit pipeline producing JSON-shaped reports against a defined rubric, agent-driven admin operations that perform actions a human owner can review in the audit log, and structured prompt libraries versioned in the repository. None of this is a chatbot; all of it is engineering.

Where AI pays back vs where it does not

Pays back: repetitive editorial drafting, alt-text and SEO meta generation against your real style guide, content audits at scale, customer-support triage that routes to humans, multi-language draft pipelines, and admin tooling that compresses 30 minutes of human button-clicking into one structured operation. Does not pay back: anything client-facing without a human review gate, generative search demos that cannot cite sources, and AI replacements for production decisions that involve money or regulatory exposure.

What the deliverable contains

A working system in your environment (not a sandbox demo), the prompt and tool definitions versioned in git, an audit log of agent operations, a cost model per 1k operations, a guardrails document covering PII handling and refusal cases, and a 60-minute walkthrough so your team can operate it without me. Where the work touches GDPR, NIS2, or sector-specific regulation, the deliverable also includes the controls map needed for the conformance report.

Frequently asked questions

What models do you work with?

Anthropic Claude (Sonnet, Opus, Haiku) is the default for production agents; OpenAI GPT-4 / GPT-5 for editorial drafting where the style is a fit; self-hosted Llama or Mistral when data residency or cost rules out hosted APIs. The model is a parameter, not the project.

Do you work with the WordPress AI API and Abilities API?

Yes. Both are the canonical integration surface in WordPress 7.0 and later. I covered the Abilities API and the AI services registry in the WordCamp Portugal 2026 recap; the implementation pattern there is the one I use in client work.

Do you build Claude skills and MCP servers for client teams?

Yes. For B2B teams running Claude Enterprise, ChatGPT Enterprise, or self-hosted agent stacks, I ship custom skills and MCP servers that expose internal WordPress and WooCommerce operations as agent-callable tools - audit pipelines, content workflows, draft-to-publish loops, admin actions. The skill or MCP server is the engineering deliverable; the client team owns it in their own catalog. This is distinct from one-off chatbot integrations: skills compose into a team's daily agent workflow and stay maintainable because the contract is in the repository, not a UI.

Can AI replace WordPress maintenance or development?

No, and selling that as a service would be a misrepresentation. AI compresses the cost of specific tasks (drafting, audit, tooling) inside the engineering work; it does not replace the decisions about architecture, security, compliance, or business outcome that the engineer is paid for.

How do you handle GDPR and data residency?

PII does not leave the client's jurisdiction without an explicit transfer mechanism in the contract. For EU clients with sensitive data, the practical answer is usually a self-hosted model on EU infrastructure with audit logging, not a hosted API. The architecture decision sits in the discovery phase, not at deployment time.

What does this cost?

Each engagement is quoted individually after reviewing scope, data sensitivity, model selection, and integration complexity. The cost model is delivered as part of the engagement so the operational cost per 1k operations is known before scale-up.
