WordCamp Warsaw 2022 was a special event. After two years of pandemic break, webinars and Zoom calls finally gave way to handshakes, corridor conversations, and “coffee from the machine” in the real world.

My presentation: Modern CSS in WordPress

Main points:
- Flexbox and Grid are standard: Don’t be afraid to use them. Browser support is complete (even IE is slowly fading into oblivion).
- Container Queries: This is the future of responsiveness. Instead of looking at screen width (Media Queries), we look at the width of the container where the component sits.
- WordPress and CSS: How are Gutenberg and FSE (Full Site Editing) changing the way we think about styles?
