#WordPress theme maintenance

A custom WordPress site based on a client-designed layout is essentially a custom WordPress theme. That is why we want to help you develop and maintain custom WordPress themes.

Do you need help with your WordPress website? Contact us for basic WordPress updates, an all-in-one solution covering themes, plugins, backups, security monitoring and uptime, as well as troubleshooting.

[!IMPORTANT] We would like you to be aware of the following facts and risks:

  • New versions of WordPress will be released.
  • New versions of plugins installed on your site will be released.
  • New versions of the theme used on your site may be released.
  • Failing to perform these updates reduces the security of your site and exposes it to attacks.
  • Attacks on websites are most often carried out blindly, by automated bots, and are not motivated by personal grudges against the site owner. In other words, they can affect anyone. An attack on your site may go unnoticed by you. For example, visitors accessing your site from mobile devices might be redirected to pornographic sites or competitor pages.
  • Not performing updates for an extended period (e.g. several months or years) increases the difficulty and cost of safely updating the site in the future.
  • Performing WordPress, theme or plugin updates can (but does not have to) break your site:
    • a. partially (only some elements will stop working)
    • b. completely (you will see a white screen when visiting the site)
  • The more plugins installed on your site, the higher the risk of site damage during updates and/or exposure to potential attacks.
  • The absence of new plugin versions does not mean the version installed on your site is safe. The plugin may have been abandoned and may no longer be actively developed.
  • There is no way to guarantee 100% protection against an attack. The most important step you can take is to ensure regular creation (and secure storage) of backups. When your site gets damaged or attacked, there is a strong chance it can be restored from an older version by someone who knows how to do it.

WordPress is one of the most popular platforms for building websites, but like any system, it can encounter various difficulties. Technical issues, code errors, or hacking attempts are just some of the problems you may face. That is why professional technical care is essential for keeping your site running smoothly.

WordPress technical care

#The importance of professional technical care

Owning a WordPress site is one thing, but keeping it in good shape is another story entirely. Over time, your site may become slower, may be exposed to various security threats, and it can even happen that one day the site stops working altogether. This is where professional technical care comes in. Thanks to regular updates, monitoring and quick intervention, your site will always be in top form.

#What does our technical care include?

Our technical care is a comprehensive service that covers various aspects of managing a WordPress site. We not only fix errors and resolve problems, but also carry out regular system and plugin updates, take care of security and handle site optimization. Keeping updates, backups, monitoring, and performance checks on one cadence lowers the odds that optimization work fights security work mid-sprint.

#Our WordPress working methods

Effective WordPress theme development always starts with defining the main goal of your site. However, this is not always achievable in the most optimal way: it requires extensive experience in web design. To make your WordPress site run as fast as possible, we discuss possible optimization approaches from our perspective and experience. You will find that the longer you work with us, the more you benefit from our deep knowledge of how to present your site online.

#Speed and efficiency are our priorities

In the online world, time is money. That is why we act as quickly as possible to minimize any downtime in your site’s operation. Our team is available around the clock, ready to intervene at any moment. What is more, we offer transparent pricing and an individual approach to each client.
